Neighbors for a SAFE Bay Shore Drive (NFSBSD) is an independent, grassroots group of concerned residents. Although separate from the BSPOA, the Association proudly supports its safety mission.
The Vision:
Transform Bay Shore Drive into a model of road safety for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, pets, and wildlife.
The Strategy:

Awareness Over Limits: Focus on driver education and caution rather than changing the actual speed limit.

Data & Tools: NFSBSD will use traffic data collected from the BSPOA-maintained speed signs to monitor vehicle speeds.

Actionable Measures: Combine community engagement, police enforcement, and traffic-calming solutions.
Due to frequent wildlife crossings and sharp curves, everyone needs to exercise extra caution.
